We are excited to announce the launch of significant improvements to the Brands Flow app. You can now manage the visibility of your brands and groups through a simple and intuitive interface.
This announcement includes the following sections:
What is changing?
Zendesk administrators will now have access to advanced tools to make the ticket interface even more intuitive and practical.
The new dashboard, exclusive to administrators, allows for easy selection of the brand you want to edit and configure the groups that will be displayed when the agent chooses that brand in a ticket.
Additionally, the app settings have been enhanced, including new options and improvements in translations, making it easier to understand the actions when selecting any of these options.
Another new feature is the ability to hide groups within brands that the agent has not been assigned to, preventing ticket movements between unauthorized groups.
Why are we making this change?
Our team identified the need to make the app more accessible and less "technical" for our target audience. Our main goals are:
- Make the app lighter and more efficient.
- Eliminate the need for JSON knowledge for its use.
- Minimize errors caused by typos or changes in group and brand names.
- Introduce new features that cater to segments with a large volume of brands to manage.
What do you need to do?
The app will be automatically updated in your instance. If you already have rules set up for your groups and brands, access the dashboard at least once when the icon is visible. This will ensure the automatic adaptation of your JSON to the new format.
If null or non-existent rules are detected, the system will automatically remove them. In this case, you will need to manually adjust in the dashboard by selecting the desired brand on the left and, in the table on the right, checking the corresponding checkboxes for the groups you want to associate with that brand.
