The Organization Cards app for Zendesk displays detailed information about the organization linked to a ticket directly in the ticket sidebar. This guide will assist you in the installation and configuration process of the app, ensuring it meets your company's specific needs.
App Installation
Follow the steps below to install the Organization Cards app directly from the Zendesk Marketplace:
- Log in as an administrator in Zendesk.
- Navigate to Admin Center > Apps and Integrations > Marketplace.
- In the search bar, type Organization Cards and select the app.
- Click Install and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
App Configuration
After installation, the administrator can configure the Organization Cards app to customize the display of relevant information about the organizations associated with tickets. Here’s how to access the settings and adjust the app according to your preferences:
Accessing the App Settings
- Go to Admin Center > Apps and Integrations > Zendesk Support Apps.
- Find Organization Cards and click Change Settings.
- On this screen, you can define which organization information will be displayed on the ticket sidebar card.
Customizing App Fields
The checkbox fields allow you to choose which information you want to display on the organization card:
- Show Organization Name: Displays the name of the organization prominently.
- Show Organization Tags: Displays the tags associated with the organization.
- Show Organization Domains: Displays the domains associated with the organization.
- Show Organization Group: Displays the group to which the organization belongs.
- Show Ticket Visibility Restrictions: Highlights the organization's ticket visibility restrictions.
- Show Organization Details: Displays additional details about the organization.
- Show Organization Notes: Displays notes related to the organization.
- Show Custom Fields: Displays active custom fields linked to the organization.
- Show Ticket Totals by Status: Displays the total number of tickets categorized by status (open, pending, resolved).
- Show Total Users: Shows the total number of users associated with the organization.
- Show External ID: Displays the external ID assigned to the organization.
- Show Creation Date: Displays the creation date of the organization.
- Show Last Updated Date: Displays the last time the organization was updated.
Multiline Field: Hide Custom Fields
You can hide specific custom fields of the organization. In the Multiline field (Hide Custom Fields), enter the names of the fields you want to hide, one per line.
